Soroptimists host candidates

Open forum will begin at 7 p.m.

Soroptimist International of Mt. Adams is hosting a Candidates' Night on Thursday, Oct. 6, at the White Salmon Park Center.

The forum, which is free and open to the public, will begin at 7:00 p.m. and will feature candidates for mayor for White Salmon and Bingen, candidates for city council seats for White Salmon and Bingen, and candidates for school board for White Salmon Valley Schools.

Each candidate in a contested race will have the opportunity to address the audience, followed by a time for audience members to ask questions of all candidates.

Soroptimist Kathleen Butcher will serve as the event's moderator, and Soroptimist will be providing refreshments.

The General Election will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 8.
