Downtown variance hearing reset

Planning commission schedules meeting for April 26

The public hearing before the White Salmon Planning Commission regarding a variance for a proposed new 39,883 square foot building at the site of the old Cameo Theater -- which would result in the removal of The Creamery building (121-125 E. Jewett Blvd.) has been rescheduled to Wednesday, April 26.

The meeting will begin in the White Salmon Fire Station, 119 NE Church Street, at 5:30 p.m.

The variance request calls for a modification of the maximum building height in this C2 general commercial zone from 35 feet to 43 feet.

The original meeting, set for April 12, was canceled due to a lack of a quorum on the Planning Commission.
