Wedding bells rang Saturday

Glenwood News for August 10

By the

Wedding bells rang for Amanda Kuhnhausen and AJ Justman on Saturday, Aug. 5. The couple was united in marriage at The New Life Assembly of God Church in Goldendale and then returned to Glenwood for a reception at the rodeo grounds. The young couple will be making their home in Bremerton, where AJ is in the Navy serving as a diesel and hydraulic mechanic on the USS Pennsylvania submarine. Amanda is attending Olympic College, where she is enrolled in the radiology program. Congratulations and best wishes to the Justmans. The Kuhnhausen and Justman families would like to extend their thanks to everyone who helped with the wedding reception.

The Glenwood Post Office is getting a face lift. Pine batten board siding is dressing the building up, and sure looks great.

Get well wishes are extended to George Shockley after his recent surgery. We hope Chris Kuhnhausen is feeling better real soon, too. She was hospitalized on Aug. 6.

The Glenwood Homemakers are offering a continuing education scholarship for students enrolled in a vocational program college or university. If you are interested in applying, contact Eileen Fletcher at 364-3590.

If you have news to share during August, call Terry at 364-3371.
