Two people were injured in a one-vehicle accident that occurred on Dec. 17, 2006, at approximately 1:10 p.m. on State Route 14, 11 miles east of Bingen.

According to the report, Dasia M. White, 26, Goldendale, was westbound on SR 14, driving a 1987 Ford Tempo. She swerved the vehicle to miss a rock in the roadway. The vehicle was unable to avoid the rock. White lost control of the vehicle, which left the roadway to the north, overturning.

White was not injured in the accident. Passenger Kyle Fowler, 22, Lyle, had injuries to his right arm. He was treated at the scene and released. Passenger Ryan Henley, 6, Goldendale, suffered possible head and neck injuries. A third passenger was not injured.

Six injures resulted from a two-vehicle accident on Dec. 16, 2006, at approximately 4:58 p.m.. The accident occurred on SR 97 at milepost 10.3.

According to the report, a 1986 Toyota Four Runner, driven by Kristopher Marshall, 27, Goldendale, was southbound on SR 97. A second vehicle, a 1997 Mitsubishi Mirage, driven by Criselda Roman, 32, Toppenish, was also southbound, some distance behind the Four Runner. Marshall pulled his vehicle onto the shoulder and then attempted to turn onto northbound SR 97. Roman's vehicle crossed over into the northbound lane to attempt to avoid a collision. The vehicles collided in the northbound lane.

Marshall suffered a head laceration and was transported to Klickitat Valley Hospital. Roman suffered a shoulder injury and was also taken to Klickitat Valley Hospital.

Christine Radcliff, 29, Goldendale, a passenger in Marshall's vehicle, suffered neck and back injuries. Passengers in Roman's vehicle were: Rubi Ramirez, 13, Toppenish, back and ankle injuries; Rosalinda Ramirez, 12, Toppenish, shoulder laceration; and Yesica Roman, 12, Toppenish, leg injury. All passengers were transported to Klickitat Valley Hospital.
