See frog jumping on stage when Missoula Theatre comes to town

Play to be presented Jan. 26 at 3 and 7 p.m.

Deep in the royal swamp, a selfish Princess makes a promise to befriend a lonely Frog after he retrieves her golden ball from a well. But what happens when the Princess tries every trick in the book to break her promise?

The local cast of "The Frog Prince" includes Dalton Wake as the Castle Frog and Kellyn McCutcheon as the Swamp Frog, Stacy Thompson as Ollie the Aspen Tree, as well as Austin Rudhe as promise-breaker Princess Prim. Her sisters Princess Proper and Princess Peppy are played by Courtney Harvey and Makaela Terance.

Ian Kempton, Winter Rose, Maria Stadler, Noah Wilson, Kraig Rutherford, Ashlynn Campbell, Dorian Sandoval, Kierstyn Kempton play the roles of bumbling Knights, Nikki Buchanan is featured as Bert The Alligator and Alyssa Bryan, Micaela Meadows, Tommy Neal, Tom Crumpacker, Cody Hipskind, Dustin Comer, JD Cox, Jisselle Garcia, Colette Bookmyer, Natasha Burrell, Keaton Rogers, Ashley Deo and Adriana Grant make up the slimy, yet kindly, Swamp Things.

The helpful, flashy Flamingos are Cayenne Ellis, Katie Brunton, Emaline Ellsworth, Chelsie Cox, Markie Doty, Hanon Lerebourg and Isabel Cortez, Sarah Iobst, Riley Gross, Claudia Barajas, Hayden Rogers, Lauren Thiesies lead the way as the Ducks. Trying to make a quick escape is Emma Wolford as the Fly from the nasty Venus Fly Traps, played by Cameron Wang, Ashley Clark, Jamie Neal, Clare Burkhardt, Emelee Pennington-Davis, Danielle Meadows, Alexis Clifford, Dalton Smith, Ruby McDonald, Alekis Tibke, Alle Ward, Beth Barton, Sidra Matthias, Leah Glasser.

Brittany Delehant, Nicole Turner, Hanon Lerebourg, James Day-Guthrie have served as Assistant Directors all week.

"The Frog Prince" will be presented on Jan. 26 at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. at the Park Center in White Salmon.

Tickets are $3 for students and seniors and $5 for adults. Tickets are available at the door.

The Missoula Children's Theatre residency in White Salmon is brought to you by Henkle Middle School ASB and PTO and Whitson Elementary School PTO.
