"Third Time's A Charm," said Lori Montour, chairman of the West Klickitat County Historical Society's sponsored tour of historic homes in Bingen and White Salmon.
The tour day is Saturday, July 22.
This year's featured Bingen home is the cottage at the bottom of Bingen Hill that was built in 1935-1937.
Featured in White Salmon will be the original Jewett Farm Resort main house; the home of the first White Salmon mayor; learn something surprising about the 1916 "orchard house;" a beautifully painted 1910 Victorian style; a 1911 house with time frame appropriate upgrades; a bluff house that was built in 1929 by a Lauterbach family member.
Tour visitors are welcome to begin and end wherever they choose, as the event is a self-guided experience.
Ticket price will include refreshments while enjoying a lovely Gorge view.
Purchase tickets at the Museum, Mid Columbia Cleaners, or Collage of the Gorge in White Salmon during business hours.
A donation of $10 will gain your entry into the tour with the proceeds to benefit Gorge Heritage Museum.
On tour day pick up maps and a brochure at the Museum building, 202 E Humboldt St., Bingen.
