First activity starts June 29

"Summer Reading" for kids birth to age 11 is well under way at the White Salmon Valley Community Library. The theme this year is Paws, Claws, Scales and Tales.

Kids who haven't signed up yet, can come on in, pick up a "Summer Fun Journal" packet and start reading! Kids can sign up any time before Aug. 15 and you can keep reading and collecting prizes through Sept. 15 (while prizes last).

In addition to earning exciting prizes for every five hours of reading, don't forget to attend the Thursday (and one Friday) evening events, starting June 29 and continuing through Aug. 3 for some great special programs for the whole family.
