Lions start Christmas tree sales

Dickey's is the place to buy

Starting Friday, Nov. 24, the White Salmon Lions will sell Christmas trees at Dickey Farms in Bingen.

Tree sales will continue through Dec. 23, or as long as the trees last.

This year, tree sales will be held on Fridays from 2 to 6 p.m., Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sundays from noon to 6 p.m.

The Lions will offer grand firs, noble firs and Douglas firs.

Proceeds from the Lions tree sales will go to fund scholarships for graduating high school seniors from Columbia, Trout Lake and Glenwood high schools, as well as for eye glasses and eye exams for people needing assistance.

Local Lions request your help by asking that you buy your Christmas tree from the White Salmon Club to support these worthwhile projects.
