Hood River Hops celebrates the harvest season by showcasing outstanding and unique Northwest beers.
Among the specially brewed fresh hop beers will be offerings from award-winning breweries and local favorites such as Full Sail, Big Horse, Elliot Glacier, Walking Man, Pelican Pub & Brewery, Rogue Ales, Deschutes, Amnesia, Golden Valley, and many more!
Hood River Hops will also showcase regional wineries and locally brewed Hard Apple Cider.
Hood River Hops will be held Oct. 7 and is free and fun for the whole family.
The event is located downtown on the corner of Columbia and Fifth streets in Hood River and will run from noon to 9 p.m.
It will feature great live music from hot rockin' blues to Bavarian Umpah.
Face painting, balloon art, kids' play area with train tables, games and puzzles, a soda station, and booths featuring a variety of regional arts and crafts will add to the festivities. A range of food vendors will be available to supply a selection of tastes from the authentic bratwursts of Johnsonville Sausage to barbecue meats, Mexican and tasty Paninis.
Kick off your Friday night with Hood River's First Friday Art Walk and then roll right on in to Hood River Hops Fest, Saturday afternoon and evening.
