Homemakers offer scholarship

The Glenwood Homemakers are pleased to announce that they will offer a $300 Continuing Education Scholarship again this year. This scholrship is open to anyone who has been a Glenwood resident for at least two years (or whose primary residence is Glenwood), has at least 12 post-secondary credit hours and will be attending an accredited 2- or 4-year college, university or trade school at least half time this fall. Deadline to apply is Spet. 15. For an application packet, contact Eileen Fletcher at 364-3590.

Waynee Kuhnhausen and daughter Karen went to Lincoln City for a restful vacation.

I hope everyone got their animal and camping fees turned in by July 31.

The Mt. Adams 4-H swine club had a weigh in on Sunday, July 29. All the swine are looking good.

Roxie Clemmer, Lonnie Dean, Diane Burgin, Chris Miller and Terry Arnold went to the American Idol Live 2007 Tour on Saturday, July 28. They had an awesome time.

We would like to send out get well wishes to Ralph Sturgeous.

The Glenwood community juniors and teens are headed to camp.
