The American Red Cross is offering Infant and Child CPR instruction on Saturday, Aug. 25, from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Columbia River District office, 1100 E. Marina Way #103, Hood River.
Designed for childcare workers, teachers, parents and others who care for young children, this course teaches hands-on skills for responding to emergencies.
Participants will be provided take home information and will learn how to recognize and care for breathing and cardiac emergencies in infants and children.
This class meets Emergency Cardiovascular Care Guidelines and satisfies the certification requirements for Infant and Child CPR.
Cost of the class is $30. Pre-registration is required.
