Watercolor artist shows at library

Display on view through December

During the month of December award winning local artist Bonnie White will have a selection of her transparent watercolors on display at the White Salmon Valley Community Library Sprint/Baker gallery.

White has been painting for over 30 years and studied with and is influenced by many well know watercolor artists, from the late Phil Tyler to Tom Lynch.

She takes her inspiration from the scenery around the Columbia River Gorge. Her passion for painting stems from her desire to document and share the beauty and joy her surroundings offer.

Many of White's paintings are created in her local studio, but she also enjoys the challenge and variety of plein air painting.

Her work has been shown extensively throughout the Columbia Gorge.

The exhibit can be viewed during regular library hours.
