The TLG girls and boys experienced a bitter-sweet week in early district competition last week in Klickitat and Goldendale. Both teams won their respective games on Tuesday -- the boys beat Yakama Tribal while the girls won their game against Bickleton. Thursday competition matched up both TLG boys and girls against the Klickitat Vandals. In an upset, both TLG teams came out on the short end of the score board. District competition continued Feb. 9 in Goldendale and saw the TLG boys and girls pitted against the Bickleton Pirates. Both TLG teams won those games and qualified them for a second week of district play beginning Tuesday in Goldendale. The TLG boys and girls will play the Vandals again on Feb. 6. A loss for either TLG team will end their basketball season, while a win would set them up to play Sunnyside Christian on Friday in Goldendale. Good luck teams as you continue district competition!

Collection locations include the school, the Shade Tree Inn and the post office. Cindy Whitefield is the coordinator this year and reminds everyone that the school can trade the labels and box tops for valuable equipment. If you have questions regarding specific types of labels or box tops (proofs of purchase) please contact Cindy at 364-3364 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
