Congratulations to Ryan and Jodi Sanchey on the arrival of their daughter Peyton Lynn at 11:59 p.m. on Feb 12. The beautiful little girl weighed in at 6 pounds 9 ounces and was 19.75 inches at birth. Peyton joins older brother Landon, 23 months, at home. Her proud grandparents include Dave and Kim Holly and George and Jerilyn Sanchey. Great grandparents are Ed and Pinky Holly, Harry and Lorraine Robinson, Richard and Karen Hansen, Jerry Moss, and George and Charlotte Sanchey. Peyton's great, great grandmother is Wilma Montgomery.
The TLG girls and boys basketball teams continued their district competition in Goldendale last week. Both teams won their games against the Klickitat Vandals on Tuesday and went on to play Sunnyside Christian on Friday.
The Glenwood Homemakers held its annual Valentine's dinner at the home of Margaret and Jerry Throop on Feb. 17. An evening of great food, visiting and games was enjoyed by the couples who attended. A big thank you to Jerry and Margaret for hosting the wonderful evening.

The Glenwood Rodeo Association will hold a business meeting on Sunday, Feb. 25, at 1 p.m. in the multi-purpose room at the school.
An anxious evening and morning for Eddie Murray's family turned out well on Feb. 18 when Eddie was found in safe condition after going missing during a snowmobile ride. Eddie and his family would like to thank everyone who helped search, supplied food and offered moral support during the ordeal.
