An Underwood man was injured following a motorcycle/vehicle accident on March 21, 2007.
The accident occurred at approximately 7:47 p.m. on State Route 141 near Eyrie Road, two miles north of White Salmon.
According to the report, a 1999 Subaru Forester driven by Harold K. Ueland, 50,White Salmon, was northbound on SR 141, attempting to make a left turn onto Eyrie Road. A 2002 Yamaha motorcycle driven by Joshua A. Adkin, 22, Underwood, was southbound on SR 141, approaching Eyrie Road. Ueland failed to yield the right of way and cut in front of the motorcycle, causing the driver to lay the motorcycle down on its right side. The motorcycle came to rest on the right shoulder.
Adkin suffered abrasions to the right arm and leg and was transported to Skyline Hospital in White Salmon. Ueland was not injured.
Ueland was charged with failure to yield right of way.
Bratislav Miljanic, 28, St. Petersburg, Fla., was not injured when he was involved in a one-vehicle accident on March 21, 2007.
The accident occurred at 3:16 p.m. on SR 14 at milepost 26, five miles east of Washougal.
According to the report, Miljanic was driving a Peterbilt semi hauling paper eastbound on SR 14 when he entered a curve at a high rate of speed. the load shifted causing the semi to roll onto its left side. The vehicle came to rest on the north side of the roadway.
Miljanic was charged with negligent driving.
