Teen summer reading begins at library

For students ages 12-19

Attention all teens: White Salmon Valley Community Library's popular Teen Summer Reading Program begins June 1!

The theme this year is "You Never Know...What You'll Find at the Library."

Students between the ages of 12-19 can pick up a free "You Never Know" journal at the library and start reading.

For every 10 hours of reading, students can earn a book gift card or movie pass (limit four prizes).

As an extra special incentive for those long hours of reading, Helping Hands of White Salmon has donated two savings bonds valued at $200 and $100 to be raffled at the end of the summer.

Teens will receive one drawing entry for every journal turned in, no limit. The more you read, the more chances you have to win!

The summer reading program is underwritten in part by Fort Vancouver Regional Library Foundation and Friends of the Library with the efforts of teen members of the Young Adult Advisory Board.

For further information, call the library at 493-1132.
