Report for Washington State Patrol

A Washougal man suffered minor injuries in a one vehicle accident on State Route 14, three miles west of White Salmon. The accident occurred on Nov. 3, 2007, at 11:55 p.m.

According to the report, Christian A. Love, 50, Washougal was hauling a load of hay, traveling westbound on SR 14. The driver entered a curve too fast and applied brakes causing the 1993 Kenworth tractor and flatbed to enter a skid for 336 feet. The trailer impacted the north guardrail, leaving the roadway to the north and causing the trailer and tractor to roll onto the right side. The trailer then came to rest on its top with the load down an embankment.

The westbound lane of traffic was blocked for approximately four hours and 75 feet of guard rail was destroyed.

Love suffered minor lacerations on his face, hands and back. He refused aid.

Love was charged with negligent driving.
