County planners consider winery building for Murdock

Proponent is Brad Gearhart

The Klickitat County Planning Department has issued a "mitigated determination of non-significance" (MDNS) for a building permit to construct a 44 foot by 64 foot winery building. The proposed site is off Mount Hood Road in the Murdock vicinity.

The proponent of the proposal is Brad Gearhart of Portland.

The building would be used for wine storage, a tasting room, and production of small lots of grapes and wine.

The Planning Department is accepting written comments related to the MDNS; the deadline is Dec. 7. Comments can be sent to: Klickitat County Planning Department, 228 W. Main Street, MS-17, Goldendale, Wash., 98620.
