Soroptimist International of Mt. Adams will be dedicating what is commonly known as the "Triangle Garden" to the club's founding president, Lela Hudson.
The garden, located at the intersection of Green and Estes Streets in White Salmon, has been maintained by the club for many years.
In recognition of the club's 30th anniversary and Lela Hudson's commitment to the community, the club will be placing a stone in the garden and renaming the area "The Lela Hudson Memorial Garden."
Hudson, who organized the Mt. Adams club in 1977, died in August 2005.
The public is invited to attend the event this Sunday, Oct. 7, at 2 p.m. at the garden site.
