The Mt. Adams Chamber of Commerce will hold its Annual General Member's Meeting on Thursday, Oct. 18.
This is a great opportunity to learn how local chamber of commerces can help your business and an even better opportunity to tell the board of directors what you think they can be doing to help your business.
Your input is not only welcome, it is invaluable to the success of our local commerce.
Registration begins at 8 a.m. with keynote speaker Connie Marshall beginning at 8:30.
Marshall is from the U.S. Small Business Administration and will educate those attending about the valuable resources they provide to local businesses.
Exhibit booths, which will open at 10:30 a.m., will showcase local businesses that may not have storefronts. You'll be amazed what fascinating and dynamic businesses are located in the community.
There is a $15 registration fee for chamber members and a $25 fee for non-members.
Register online at www.hammock.net/mtadams. This web page also has a map to the Pioneer Center, and a detailed agenda.
