Watch amazing adventures of Robinson Crusoe

School kids to perform Missoula Theatre production

Audiences of all ages will get a fresh look at an age-old favorite this Saturday, May 3, when the Missoula Children's Theatre (MCT) and more than 50 local students present The Amazing Adventures of Robinson Crusoe.

The local cast features Marie Stadler as Robinson Crusoe, Noah Wilson as Wilson, his sole companion and Gabrienne Peyralans Post as Leonard the leopard.

Also featured are Friday's family, who will be played by Kalie Brunton, Katie Welch, Corrie Brending, Colette Bookmyer, Cayenne Ellis, Kyal Cantwell. Ruby McDonald will be playing the band leader Oscar the Octopus and will feature Athena Colbert, Megan Hanks, Cassandra Huit, Hayden Rogers, Rebecca Wolf, Sidra Matthias, and Ashley Clark as the Oscar Octopus Octet band members.

The local family of goats includes Ian Whidden as Billy, Jacob Rawding as Bill, Maxs Moses as Willy, Cody Hipskind as Will and Martha Neuman as Wilma. Dehlia Harrington, Sarah Iobst, Grant Anderson, Kayleynne Beneventi, Abbie Hanks, Eliza Durkee-Neuman, Ethan Brunton, Jordan Murphy, Julia Terrana, Katie Ritoch, Natalie Lapierre, Eva Coulon, and Emelie Pennington-Davis will appear as the very hairy, very scary, Frowny-Face Tribe.

The colorful Chameleons will be played by Chloe Hanks, Zack Martin, Ivy McDonald,Katelynn Tate, Cole Harrison, Emily Lockman, Pica Popenoe, Jacob Sholtis, Aryah Nelson, Antonia Zachariadou, Tiyler Schroeder, Isobel Bradbury, Summer Henricksen, Lillie Goodson, Daicia Kasenga, Lily Hill, Isabel Wolf, and Lindsey Moon.

Kelsey Christensen, Ashley Deo, Jerica Cruse, and Elizabeth Bucher have served as Assistant Directors throughout the week. David Cross and Leanne Gravette are the Missoula Children's Theatre directors working with our students throughout the week.

The Amazing Adventures of Robinson Crusoe will be presented at 3 and 7 p.m. at Whitson Elementary School, in the gym.
