District governor speaks at Rotary

Club member to get honor

Dennis Wickham, District Governor of Rotary District 5100 will speak to members of White Salmon-Bingen Rotary Club at Noon on Tuesday, Aug. 12.

Wickham, a Rotarian for 16 years, has served in many Rotary positions on increasing responsibility and was named District Governor in July of this year. He presently holds the position of Medical Examiner for Clark County.

His presentation will include personal experiences from his journey in Rotary, and he will give an award to a club member exemplifying the Object of Rotary, which is to encourage and foster the ideal of service.

The White Salmon-Bingen Rotary Club meets at The United Methodist Church, 341 N. Main Street, White Salmon. Its president is Jonathan Blake. Rotary District 5100 includes nearly 4,100 members in 72 Rotary clubs throughout northern Oregon and southwestern Washington.
