The public is invited to a discussion and slide show about climate change, and its impact to our community and our world.
"Climate: A Community Conversation" presented by Robert Marino will be held in the White Salmon Valley Community Library Sprint/Baker Gallery on Tuesday, Sept. 9, at 7 p.m.
Marino will help participants understand why scientists agree that climate change is occurring, the resulting problems and what we can do about them.
Marino is an MBA student in sustainable business practices studying climate change. In connection with training received through "The Climate Project" and the "Oregon Physicians for Social Responsibility," Marino will be leading a series of workshops to engage Northwest communities in discussions of this important topic.
