According to the report, Starr L. Corner, 63, Carson, was driving her 1992 Toyota 4 Runner westbound on SR 14. The vehicle struck a large boulder causing it to leave the roadway to the north and strike a rock wall.

Corner was not injured in the accident. Her passenger, Avis L. Davis, 75, suffered a laceration to her hand. She was transported by aid to Hood River Providence.

Fire and aid vehicles blocked the westbound lane for approximately 45 minutes.
