The Lyle Hotel announces its 2008 Winemaker Dinner Series, beginning with McCormick Family Vineyard's first "Memaloose Wines" on Saturday, Jan. 19, at 6 p.m.
Space is limited and reservations are recommended.
This will be the first winemaker's dinner for McCormick Family Vineyards. Winemaker Brian McCormick will be presenting new releases "York's Reward," a rich blend of Barbera and Primitivo; "Mistral Ranch," a bold blending of Syrah and Grenache; and "Corps Red," made up of Cabernet Franc, Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon.
All the grapes are from the Columbia River Gorge, with most grown organically at the family's vineyards in Lyle and Mosier.
The second dinner in the Lyle Hotel's series will feature Dry Hollow Vineyards on Saturday, March 1, at 6 p.m.
Saturday, April 12, will feature Pheasant Valley Winery.
Syncline Wine Cellars will be featured Saturday, May 31.
