Glenwood News for June 5

By the

GLENWOOD HOMEMAKERS

The Glenwood seniors went on their educational trip to Lincoln City. I hope the weather will be good for them. They have a lot of fun and educational things to do in Lincoln City. The seniors are Tim Kuhnhausen, Dave'y Lumley, Devin Dean, Georgie Kokos, Jimmy Smith and Anthony Settler. Chaperons are Mr. Couch and Jensi Smith. I hope they have a wonderful time.

Graduation is this Saturday, June 7, at 2 p.m. at the Glenwood school. Please join to celebrate with our fine graduating youth.

Baccalaureate was Wednesday, May 27, at the Community Church. It was wonderful to watch our graduates all dressed in their Black, White and Red walk down the isle. It was a very nice ceremony. Thanks to the Ladies Aid for giving our seniors the Bibles.

Instead of June 10, the next Glenwood Grange meeting will be held June 13 at 6 p.m. at the grange. The grange will be hosting the pinochle events for the months of June, July and August. Bingo will start again in September when the Glenwood Women's Club becomes the hosts again.

The Women's Club will also be cooking for the hungry at the hamburger shack during the Ketchum Kalf Rodeo over Father's Day weekend -- June 14 and 15.

The Endurance Ride was last weekend and it was a great success.

If you have any news for the month of June please contact Terry Arnold at 364-3371. Thanks
