Discover raptors on Father's Day

Program begins at 2 p.m.

Give Dad something really unique on Father's Day -- attendance at a live raptor presentation!

At 2 p.m. Sunday, June 15, the Discovery Center will offer another presentation in its Raptor Discovery Program.

The program, to be held in the M.J. Murdock Theater, is open to the public and is included with paid admission to the museum.

Birds in the Sunday program include a western screech Owl, a great horned owl, an American kestrel and a peregrine falcon.

The Raptor Discovery Program is expanding to include a bald eagle, which will be available for viewing at scheduled times, and the Adopt-a-Raptor Program to help with funding of the educational program.
