The Mt Adams Bicycle Ride will be happening on Saturday, June 28.

There are rides from 14 to 100 miles planned. We are expecting riders from all over the Northwest. Planners are inviting community members to volunteer to help with this project. Call Cookie Gilpatrick at 395-2468 for additional information.

American Cancer Society Relay for Life is holding a car wash and bake sale this Saturday, June 21, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Trout Lake School. Come get your car shined up and buy a tasty dessert for dinner or snack.

The Pennies For Scholars drive is on, drop off your pennies and spare change at the Grocery Store, Hardware Store or any of the other collection jars around town. This amazing fund grows to provide scholarships to Trout Lake students every year; your pennies go a looooong way!

Items for the Community Foundation's yard sale are finding their way to Coralee Warner's office at TLC Bookkeeping, and the building is starting to fill up! Volunteers to help sort and price the items are more than welcome. If you show up on any Wednesday for an hour or so, it would be a big help.

Saturday Market opens on June 28 with new vendors and yummy baked goods; mmmm, I can smell those cinnamon rolls already!

The county wide burn ban starts on July 1 this year; no outdoor burning will be allowed after that date. Keep us green!
