Mill A hosts annual 4th parade

In true independence style

The Mill A 4th of July Parade returns for its seventh year!

This is the best little hometown parade on this side of the Columbia River Gorge. Come and watch the fun, or fancy up your car, truck or ATV and join in the festivities. Musicians are always welcome!

New this year will be family games, sponsored by Evergreen Community Church in Mill A. A tug of war, sack races and other enjoyable activities will be provided.

The Mill A Volunteers will be serving up another Old Fashioned Fireman's Picnic as a fundraiser. The picnic will be held after the parade at Mill A School, beginning at noon.

The parade gets underway at 10:30 a.m., with assembly at the south corner of Jessup Road and Cook-Underwood.

Registration is required for all entrants, and all children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

For more information, contact Johanna Roe at (509) 538-2643.

The parade is sponsored by SDS Lumber and Mill A School.
