Firemen to serve turkey Saturday

Glenwood News for March 13

By the

The Mt. Adams Snowmobile Club held its annual Chili Feed this last weekend. They had a great turnout and everyone seemed to have a wonderful time. The club would like to thank all the participants and all the workers who helped with the feed.

New officers are president Mike Tiffany, vice president Rod Johnson, secretary Erika Dahl and treasurer Kerri Smith.

Glenwood's annual Firemen's Turkey Dinner will be March 15 from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Cost is $8 for adults, $4 for children 12 and under. Come and support the firemen.

The Mt. Adams Community 4-H Club would like to thank the community for buying fruit.

The Glenwood sophomore class thanks the community for buying doughnuts to support the class.

Friends of the Mt. Adams Cemetery will be hosting a meeting at the Grange Hall on March 19 at 3 p.m. The meeting will look at Columbaria. A Columbaria is a unit which permanently seals the ashes of our loved ones.

The eighth grade class is selling raffle tickets for an Easter basket. The tickets are 25 cents each or 5 for a $1. Tickets can be purchased from eighth graders (Leah Petersen, Catherine Suttler, CJ Schuster, Kurt Wilkins or Jake Keithly) or at the school. The drawing will be March 21.

Happy Birthday to Jimmy Clemmer, Brian Whitefield, Donna Montgomery and Candi Kuhnhuasen.

We would like to send our condolences to Kay Hoodenpyl on the loss of her uncle.
