Police arrest three suspects in alleged Bingen car prowl

Young adults charged with crime

On April 15 at about 10:45 p.m., law enforcement officers were dispatched to a report of an alleged vehicle prowl in the 100 block of Elm Street in Bingen.

Bingen-White Salmon Police Department Officers Gines and Shields responded, as well as Sgt. Kilian and Deputy Bianchi from the Klickitat County Sheriff's Office.

The responding officers arrested and charged three adults in the alleged crime.

Jacob Farrell, 24, was charged with alleged criminal trespass II; Zachary King, 24, was charged with theft III, vehicle prowl II, and criminal trespass II; and Andrea London, 21, was charged with criminal trespass II and possession of marijuana less than 40 grams.

Officers reported that a stereo system from the vehicle that had been broken into was recovered during the investigation.

Police Chief Bruce Brending said the arrests in the case came because of the cooperation of the public.

"Reporting suspicious activity, and people willing to come forward, be involved, give statements, and report incidents when they happen, that greatly assists the Police Department and helps keep their neighbors and their community safe," Brending said. "All the members of the Bingen-White Salmon Police Department want to say thank you, and encourage all area citizens to look out for themselves and their neighbors."
