91-year-old Delia Grace Robbins died in White Salmon on Aug. 13, 2009. She was born in Wenatchee to William and Grace (Morris) Agner on May 10, 1918.
Mrs. Robbins was raised in Toppenish and married Jay Robbins in White Salmon Nov. 7, 1940. The couple moved to Trout Lake in the early 1940s then to BZ Corner in 1952. While her husband worked as a logger for various local companies, she managed the home. She always tended a large vegetable garden and also kept busy sewing and crocheting.
Mrs. Robbins enjoyed the outdoors, especially camping, fishing and picking huckleberries.
Mrs. Robbins is survived by her daughter Lorraine Holtmann, White Salmon; grandson Jay Holtmann and granddaughter Becky Woosley, both of Underwood; sisters Velma Martin of Lyle and Ruth Schilling of Seattle; brother Gene Baugher of Husum; and great grandchildren Derek, Austin, Adrienne and Kara.
She was preceded in death by her brother Earl Baugher and her husband Jay Robbins, who died on April 27, 1988.
A graveside service was held Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2009, at the White Salmon Cemetery. Gardner Funeral Home handled arrangements.

Longtime White Salmon area resident C. Ronald Ladiges died Sunday, Aug. 16, 2009, in The Dalles.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, Aug. 26, 2009, at 1 p.m. at Gardner Funeral Home in White Salmon.
