Calling all readers! The public is invited to the White Salmon Valley Community Library for the fall series of the Saturday afternoon book group.
With a focus on regional writers, the library staff announces that the authors for all three books in the series will be joining at the library.
The group will be meeting on select Saturdays, September through November, at 1 p.m. in the library's Sprint/Baker Gallery.
Refreshments will be provided by the Friends of Library
The book group schedule will be as follows:
Sept. 26, Portland author Molly Gloss will be on hand to discuss her book, Hearts of Horses. Copies of the book are now available at the library's front desk.
Oct. 3, Hood River author Craig Danner will be reading from his new book, The Fires of Edgarville, followed by a book signing.
Oct. 31, participants will be discussing Fires of Edgarville by Craig Danner.
Nov. 21, author Kim Antieau of Stevenson will be joining the discussion of her newest book, Church of the Old Mermaids .
