Skiing: Shae Duffy won her second ski race of the season at the Diamond Dual this past weekend, held at Mt. Hood Ski Bowl in Government Camp, Ore.
The White Salmon local, skiing for the Multnomah Athletic Club, won the first race of the season for 7- and 8-year-old girls at the Kandahar Giant Slalom held at Mt. Hood Meadows in early January.
The Diamond Dual event pits ski racers against each other on parallel courses and is a very exciting format to watch. Skiers race on one course for their first run and then switch courses for their second, with the best combined time winning.
