Report for Washington State Patrol



A Stevenson man was injured following a motorcycle accident on State Route 14 at 9:40 a.m. on Friday, June 26, 2009. The accident occurred at milepost 67, .5 miles east of Bingen.

According to the report, Robert M. Talent, 66, Stevenson was driving his 2004 Yamaha motorcycle eastbound on SR 14 when he struck a deer. The motorcycle slid across the westbound lane, coming to rest on its side on the north shoulder.

Talent suffered two fractures to his right leg. He was transported to Hood River Memorial and then to Emanuel Hospital in Portland.
