What did you think of that parade this year. I think it was really nice and longer. Thanks to Tille Williams for organizing and thanks to all the particpants, also to Roxie Clemmer and Ray Lemley for lining them up.

Here are the particpants: the Klickitat Sheriff Department; Glenwood Rodeo Association Riders; Ketchum Kalf Rodeo Queen Kelsey Gunnier; Miss NPRA Rodeo Queen Makenzie Carr; Klickitat County Fair and Rodeo Queen Katlin Johnston; Fort Dallas Rodeo Queen Amanda Hunter; Broken Spur Rodeo Queen Alexander Wooden, queen contestant Kelli Wilson; Toppenish Jr. Rodeo Queen Marty Gunnier; Wasco County Fair and Rodeo Queen Melissa Weimar, queen contestants Georgie Kokos and Allison McFall, Tonya Kokos, Crystal Warren, Kyle Dean Courtney, Hillary Hoar, and Wendy Dinnerstein; Yakima Sunsation Flag Team; Vancouver Rodeo and Friends; Mt.Adams Community 4-H Club Float driver Rachael Throop; Future Bad Boys Ski-Doo Snowmobile Riders; the Steinbauch, Carlton and Spies kids; Klickitat Prom Court Laura Justman and Leah Justman; Dr. Ogden Mopar Limo Service; Jim and Linda Bolt in a 1948 Town and Country Chrysler; Glenwood Valley Farm Express driven by Skip Booher; Bubba Jones Dirt Bike, the Red Hat Ladies Float in memory of Alma Kuhnhausen; Janet MeCutcheon, grand marshal for White Salmon Spring Fest; Scott family, Polaris Ranger Having Fun; Preier Power Sports; Brad Gimlin, log truck; Brent Gimlin, log truck; Murray and Murray, log truck; Glenwood Volunteer Fire Departmaent Fire Truck and Ambulance Drivers Jim Schesner and Darrel Spies.

Our new rodeo queen for next year is Marty Gunnier from Toppenish.

Big Jim Clemmer was honored with Hanky Ladiges Memorial Buckle. Bj Campbell received the Ty Murray All Around Buckle. The Shawna Robberson Buckle went to Jamie Beirle.

Congratulations to all of you.

The Glewood Rodeo Association would like to thank all of its volunteers and sponsors. Thank all of you for your support.

I was corrected about one of the trivia questions. I guess there were four locations for the rodeo. The other one is where the old school house's baseball field was.

There will be a memorial service for Bob Trout at the Mt. Adams Lodge (the Flying L Ranch) on July 8 at 2 p.m. So anyone who knows him please come and share some memories of him with his family.

We would like to send out our condolences to Cloy and Marilyn Sykes for the loss of their son. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Sunday, June 28, Bo Arnold put on a Bridal Shower for Debbie Vandeburg.

This is the last week of summer school and next week swimming lessons start. Lessons will last two weeks.

We would like to send get well wishes out to Tillie Williams. We hope you feel better soon.

Well Fourth of July weekend is upon us. I hope everyone has a wonderful time. Please stay safe and enjoy your family and friends. Happy Fourth of July to everyone.
