It's time to fill a bag

Make donations at Harvest Market, Thriftway

Riverview Community Bank, White Salmon Harvest Market and The Enterprise are partnering to make an impact on hunger in Klickitat County.

The businesses are participating in the Fill-A-Bag Program. It's the fifth year for the three businesses.

To participate in the White Salmon/Bingen Fill-A-Bag program, participants just need to fill up a bag with nonperishable grocery items, take the bag to the White Salmon Riverview Bank or Harvest Market.

Cash donations need to be made through Riverview Bank tellers.

Bags are inserted into this week's Enterprise, the Nov. 26 edition. Additional bags are also available at The Enterprise office, Riverview and Harvest Market.

Riverview offers a dollar to pound match for all food donations.

Food items needed include baby food/formula, canned meats, canned stew, canned tuna, canned vegetables, peanut butter, instant potatoes, macaroni, oatmeal, pancake mix, rice, soup and unsweetened cereal.
