It's the first ping pong tournament in the Gorge

WAAAM It! is the Gorge's first all-ages, all abilities ping pong tournament on March 20 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

This round robin ping pong event will be held at the Western Antique Aeroplane and Automotive Museum (WAAAM--the airplane museum on the heights in Hood River).

In addition, you'll get to tour the vintage airplanes and automobiles, participate in a silent auction (with all sorts of fun items including a ride in a glider!), and nosh on some fabulous barbecue.

Organizers are raffling off a ride across the Columbia River in a Lifeflight helicopter.

So, even if you don't play much ping pong, it will be a day of fun -- and you'll be supporting the Skyline Foundation and WAAAM (two fabulous non-profit organizations in the Gorge).

You may register and/or purchase raffle tickets online, via mail, or in person.
