Celtic concert with Fiddleheads

On March 5 at library

Join others in the White Salmon Valley Community Library's Sprint/Baker Gallery on Friday, March 5, from 7 to 8 p.m. for an evening of Celtic music featuring "The Fiddleheads."

This 11-piece Columbia River Gorge string band will be playing tunes from the Celtic tradition including Irish and Scottish jigs, reels, airs and waltzes.

This is a concert the whole family will enjoy.

"The Fiddleheads" includes eight fiddlers (Connie Dunnington, Ruth Kosmalski, Jane Dowell, Don Dowell, Birch Masters, Brian McCavitt, Wanda Vanderwild and Krystal Dowell). Accompanying the fiddles are Rich Dunnington on the guitar, Chris Fordonski on the bass and Jeremy Sawdon on the mandolin. The musicians are from throughout the Gorge from Cascade Locks to The Dalles, and White Salmon and Hood River in between.

Refreshments will be provided by the Friends of the Library.
