White Salmon resident Karalee Chabotte has been hired by CenterPointe Community Bank as assistant vice president and business development officer.

Chabotte was previously branch manager for First Independent Bank located in Bingen; First Independent Bank recently announced that it will be closing its Bingen office in November 2010.

Chabotte has over 20 years experience in branch banking and for the past five years she has lived and worked in the Bingen/White Salmon market area where she has been an active member of the community.

Chabotte is presently president of the White Salmon/Bingen Rotary Club, secretary of the Mt. Adams Chamber of Commerce and treasurer of the Skyline Foundation as well as a board member for White Salmon Friends of the Library and the Gorge Heritage Museum.

Chabotte's new position with CenterPointe Bank will allow her to continue as an active member of the Bingen and White Salmon communities.
