Button enthusiast to speak at Heritage Museum

On Sept. 10

Button collecting enthusiast Dorothy Krugner will speak at the Gorge Heritage Museum in Bingen on Friday, Sept. 10, from 10 a.m. to noon.

She will talk about the history of buttons, display part of her collection and identify buttons brought by participants. She will also point out interesting buttons in the museum historical button display of Ora Cimmiyotti and Grace Peck.

Krugner lives in Vancouver and is a member of the National Button Society, the Western Regional Button Society, and the Oregon and Washington State Button Societies.

Call 493-3228 for reservations to the button event.

There is no charge to members of the West Klickitat County Historical Society. Non-members will be charged $5.
