Gorge Grown's 3rd annual Feast on the Farm will be held Sept. 12 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Idiot's Grace Farm & Orchard in Mosier.
Enjoy a family cookout-style seasonal meal prepared by 10 of the region's best restaurants from entirely local fresh ingredients, and don't forget about the local beer and wine too!
This event highlights the best of what Gorge farmers, ranchers, food producers, and chefs have to offer, from Hood River to Maupin, Goldendale to Stevenson!
There will be live music for all ages from Steve Power and Kate Einhorn, including a ukulele workshop starting at 4:30 p.m.
This year, organizers are also hosting a silent auction featuring delicious food and drink, experiences, and art relating to food and farms in the Columbia River Gorge.
Tickets are $25 in advance, $30 at the door, and $10 for kids 4 and up. They are available at Waucoma Books in Hood River, Klindt's Books in The Dalles, and online at www.gorgegrown.com.
Proceeds from the event support our efforts to build a sustainable regional food system for the Gorge by connecting local farmers with local markets and ensuring access to good food for everyone.
