Community ladies are invited to attend for a fun time with friends and chocolate -- a perfect combination! Childcare is available For questions, please contact Kathy, 364-3359; Darlene, 364-3436; or Jennifer, 364-3517.
Last call to make reservations for the Class of 2011 crab feed on Monday, Feb. 7, from 4:30 to 8 p.m. at the Glenwood School. Advisor Darren Jones asked that reservations be made at the school (364-3438) as soon as possible as the crab must be ordered several days in advance. Prices for 1.5 crabs, salad, bread, dessert and beverage are $20; or chef salads with toppings, bread, beverage and dessert are $8. A silent auction with many great items is also scheduled to take place during the crab feed. Proceeds from this fundraiser will help with the senior class educational trip this spring.
The Glenwood Grange will hold a potluck lunch on Tuesday, Feb. 8, at noon followed by a business meeting.
Glenwood Homemakers will hold the February meeting at Margaret Throop's home on Feb. 8 at 7 p.m.
A correction from the recent school newsletter: The school/community garden/greenhouse meeting is scheduled for this Thursday, Feb. 3, (not March 3) at 5 p.m. in the school library. Anyone interested in participating this year is encouraged to attend.
