Firemen to serve turkey

Glenwood News for Feb. 24

By the

Heads up! The annual Firemen's Turkey Dinner is scheduled for March 19 at the Glenwood School from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. The all-you-can-eat-turkey dinner with all of the fixings is just $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under. Proceeds from this dinner help provide equipment and furnishings for Glenwood's volunteer fire department (District #8.)

The Pioneer Memorial Community Church (PMCC) will be participating in a Women of Faith video conference on March 11 and 12. The conference will begin Friday at 5:45 p.m. with soup and salad and will end at 9 p.m. Saturday brunch will be served at 8:30 a.m., lunch will be served, and the conference will conclude at 2 p.m.

There is no cost to attend, but donations will be accepted. Please register early with Kay Carr, 364-3325; Jennifer Hallenbeck, 364-3517; or Jessica Molyneux, 364-9468; so that enough food can be prepared for the conference. All women are invited to attend the Women of Faith video conference.
