Candidates wanted for open seat on Bingen City Council

Attend Aug. 2 meeting

Bingen City Council is seeking a replacement to fill an open council position until the 2011 General Election results are certified by the Klickitat County Auditor's Office.

The vacancy arose with the resignation of Councilor Catherine Kiewit. According to Bingen officials, the individual selected by the remaining council members will serve until mid-November.

A letter of interest and resume' should be submitted to the city of Bingen at city hall, 112 N. Ash St., or by mail, PO Box 607, Bingen, Wash., 98605, by noon Friday, July 29.

An applicant for the position must be registered to vote in Bingen and have been a city resident for at least one year.
