Local boys to play

Teens and 'tweens going into 7th through 12th grade are invited to this free event.

Teens will also have the opportunity to sign up for the "You Are Here" Summer Reading Program.

The program offers a $5 Barnes & Noble gift card for every 10 hours of reading recorded in a journal (up to four cards), or entry into a drawing for a grand prize.

Grand prizes include iPod nanos, $200 savings bonds, Nintendo 3DS gaming systems, $200 gift certificates and netbook computers.

The top two teen readers at the White Salmon Valley Community Library will also earn savings bonds valued at $200 and $100 donated by Helping Hands.
