Sweet Thursday is being observed on March 3 at Pioneer Memorial Community at 6:30 p.m. Community ladies are invited to enjoy an evening of fellowship and a great dessert! For questions, please contact Jennifer at 364-3517.

National Breakfast Week will be celebrated at the Glenwood School from March 7 through 11. Parents are encouraged to join their children for breakfast at the school from 7:40 to 7:55 a.m. Tickets for adults are $1.70 each.

The Emperor's New Clothes will be presented in an all-school-musical featuring the talent of Glenwood students and staff. The program will be held in the gym on March 10 at 6:30 p.m. and admission is free.

It is hard to believe with snow piling up like crazy, but the high school students began track and baseball practice on Monday, Feb. 28. Glenwood will be combining again with Trout Lake for track; while Glenwood athletes wishing to play baseball are traveling to White Salmon. Tom Eldred is once again coaching the track students.

The Glenwood middle school students will begin their track practice under Julie Brazil's leadership on Monday, March 7. Best wishes to our high and middle school athletes as they compete in their spring sports!

Heads up! The annual Firemen's Turkey Dinner is scheduled for March 19 at the Glenwood School from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. The all-you-can-eat-turkey dinner with all of the fixings is just $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under. Proceeds from this dinner help provide equipment and furnishings for Glenwood's volunteer fire department (District #8.)
