Well, winter has returned. As I write this we are having a snow/slush storm; do so miss the spring like weather we have been having but the snow pack is low and this will help increase it so guess there are benefits to everything (more or less).
On March 7 at 7 p.m. Glacier Springs Water Association is holding its annual meeting in the Grange Hall. There will be elections to fill a seat on the board, and a review of projects completed, in progress and proposed. These meeting are always very informative and unfortunately lightly attend. They provide a wonderful opportunity to be informed about the workings of the company that provides most Trout Lake residents with their water. If you get your water from Glacier Springs please come vote and be informed.
The Community Foundation will start accepting donations for the annual rummage sale on March 1. Please drop off your donations at the TLC Accounting Office during business hours. Contact CoraLee for more information at 395-2218.
The local CSA (Community Support Agriculture) now is accepting memberships for the coming growing season. There are two categories of membership; paid or working. For more information or to request a membership application contact John at 395-9339 or e-mail TroutLakeCSA@gmail.com. The CAS garden makes quite an attractive sight as one drives to the town center.
There was sufficient interest in the driver safety course mentioned a few columns ago for Jim to set a date. The class will be held on March 26. To enroll or for more information contact Jim at 395-2755 or email@example.com.
Enjoy the snow!
