The Emperor's New Clothes will be presented in an all-school-musical featuring the talent of Glenwood students and staff. The program will be held in the gym on Thursday, March 10, at 6:30 p.m. and admission is free.
Last call for registration for the Women of Faith video conference to be held at the Pioneer Memorial Community Church on March 11 and 12. The conference will begin March 11 from 5:45 to 9 p.m. Saturday's schedule is slated to start at 8:30 a.m. and conclude around 2 p.m. Meals will be provided during both sessions. Pre-registration will be appreciated in order to provide enough food. There is no cost for the conference, but donations will be accepted. Right on the heels of National Breakfast Week, comes Classified School Employees Week that will be observed from March 14 through 18. Classified employees are a big cog in the public education wheel that makes our school function so well. Remember to thank Glenwood's classified employees including cooks, para professionals, custodians and bus drivers for their part in our children's school experience.
Only one more week until the annual Firemen's Turkey Dinner on Saturday, March 19, at the Glenwood School! The all-you-can-eat-turkey dinner will be served from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. and is just $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under. Proceeds from this dinner help provide equipment and furnishings for Glenwood's volunteer fire department (District #8.)
Remember to move your clocks one hour ahead (spring forward) on Saturday night so you will be on time when Daylight Savings time begins on March 13.
Mike Madden from Skyline Hospital will be visiting the Glenwood Community Council meeting on Tuesday, March 15, at 7 p.m. Information about the upcoming hospital levy will be shared. Please come out and ask questions.
