Eat for art's sake

Take a bite of the Gorge

Celebrate at The Bite of the Gorge on Saturday, April 9, from 6 to 9 p.m. at WAAAM, Western Antique Aeroplane and Automobile Museum, in Hood River.

Spend the evening with the Gorge's best restaurants, wineries and breweries under one roof, each offering a sample of its very best fare.

Eat and drink well; listen to music from the Insitu Mainstage, and bid on silent auction wine dinners, airplane rides and a-day-in-an-artist-studio, as well as beautiful ceramic pieces painted by your favorite local artists. All in support of art in schools!!

Tickets are $45 and include museum admission, 1 drink ticket, and tastes from all participating restaurants. Tickets are available at Waucoma Books, HR community Education in Hood River, The Postal Connections in White Salmon, and Klindt's Booksellers in The Dalles, as well as at the door.

VIP tables may be reserved by calling 541-387-5031.

Columbia Gorge Arts in Education has provided artist residencies, teacher workshops, and after-school programs to K-12 students in Mid-Columbia schools for over 20 years! Last year, its arts programs reached over 6000 students.
